Irving, TX and Fort Wayne, IN (November 11, 2022) – The Nexstar Media Charitable Foundation and WANE 15, the Nexstar Media Inc. television station serving Fort Wayne, IN and surrounding areas, today announced that the Foundation will make a $5,000 donation to Northeast Indiana Honor Flight. Honor Flight Northeast Indiana is a recognized, independent hub of the Honor Flight network and was created to transport veterans to Washington, DC to visit the memorials built in their honor.
WANE 15 has been a proud partner and supporter of Honor Flight Northeast Indiana since 2012, but for the past five years WANE 15 and Honor Flight have partnered to annually present the Veterans Voices program on Veterans Day, a broadcast an hour telling the stories. local veterans and Honor Flight Northeast Indiana.
