Maple Street Cookie Company

Known for its cookie sandwiches, like the Squawking Goat featured by Food Network, which combines fried chicken, goat cheese and spicy chili jelly, Maple Street Biscuit Co. is a breakfast spot not to be missed. . Maple Street Biscuit recently told 614Now that it’s opening in Columbus is tentatively slated for December.

Every day

This unique bakery is inspired by both Korean and French influence and operates locations in a handful of different countries. The concept’s first Columbus space looks nearly complete from the outside and says it’s coming soon. An exact opening date has yet to be announced, however.

BJ Lieberman and Bronwyn Haines of Chapman’s Eat Market and Ginger Rabbit refuse to slow down, and that’s fine with us. The duo are opening a brand new restaurant that will use a wood-burning fireplace to grill the majority of the dishes it serves. There is no firm opening date yet, but Hireath will likely open late next month or early 2023.

Why have one high heat point from a famous Columbus chef when you can have two? Service Bar alum and former “Top Chef” contestant Avishar Barua recently opened his daytime cafe, Joya’s, and now he’s turning his sights to a dine-in venue. Named after the Hindu god of fire, Agni will lean into the backyard barbecue vibes while offering flame-grilled dishes from around the world.

The Mercury dinner

The owners of The Crest offer a space-age restaurant in the German Village neighborhood. The Galaxy Diner will serve classic dinner fare, with a twist, inside a venue reminiscent of both vintage Americana and outer space. A representative for A&R Collective told 614Now that the new restaurant will hold its grand opening on November 17.

Buzzed Bull Creamery

Milkshakes are great, but they taste even better when washed down. This fast-growing chain offers a variety of decadent milkshakes and ice cream creations that are made-to-order and can be infused with or without alcohol. Buzzed Bull is expected to open in Powell in the coming weeks, although an exact date has not been announced.
