The best tacos in the country are served in Ohio

👋 Mary Jane here with a local staple for Taco Tuesday.

The context: I assumed Los Guachos had the best tacos in town before I even learned of its long list of accolades.

• According to “Every Day with Rachael Ray” magazine, Los Gauchos has the best tacos in the country. It was also featured on Food Network”The 5 best restaurants.”

What I ordered: I’m a creature of habit and usually order steak tacos with cheese. But I decided to change it and also order the Original Taco al Pastor and a fish taco.

• I realize now that I deprived myself of really delicious tacos. The pork was juicy and salty and the pineapple added a bit of sweetness to balance out the flavors.
• I’m not the biggest fan of fish in tacos, but this was surprisingly soft, flavorful, and not too fishy.

If you are going to: Also on the menu are quesadillas, salads, burritos and desserts. I recommend the churros or the tres leches cake.

• Pitches in Dublin, Gahanna, Whitehall and northwest of Columbus. Hours vary. Take-out and catering available.
