Riverton— Over ten years ago, Via 313 opened as a small food truck operating the streets of Austin. While the food truck has remained in Texas, the award-winning pizzeria has piqued Beehive State’s appetite and recently opened its brand new Via 313 in Riverton.
To celebrate, the award-winning pizzeria invited the local community to join the Via 313 team, Mayor Trent Staggs and the Riverton Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and now serves the community at 13222 S. Tree Sparrow Dr. ., Ste . R180 in Mountain View Village shopping centre.
“We are excited to continue to grow in Utah,” said co-founder Brandon Hunt. “We’re honored to share our Detroit-style pizza everywhere we go, and we’re thrilled to have it in Riverton. We are very grateful for the warm welcome from the community during the grand opening and hope that everyone will come and discover their new favorite pizzeria.
Riverton’s location marks Via 313’s fourth in Utah and 11e system-wide. Store hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Via 313 exists so that more people across the country can enjoy the pizza that is loved in Detroit. The pizzas are called square, but they’re actually rectangular and baked in metal trays, just like those used on the Big Three’s car assembly lines.
