Although “Barefoot Contessa” Ina Garten has had a home in Paris, France, since 2007 (via Fodors), the pandemic temporarily suspended his stay in the city. But in May 2022, the cooking show host and cookbook author was finally able to return to one of her favorite spots, as she announced in a Instagram post with a photo of her beloved husband, Jeffrey. “OMG back in Paris after 2 and a half years down a rabbit hole!” Garden wrote. “It’s so good to be here and everyone is so happy!”
Throughout her time in Paris, Garten shared images of her and Jeffrey’s outings, much to Instagram’s delight. And in a Publish dated May 14, the Contessa provided a photo of fancy fruit pies she had taken The Great Grocery, a 2,900 square meter gourmet store featuring superb displays of French breads, desserts, wines, cheeses, charcuterie and many other items. As you might guess, Garten is a fan. “@lagrandeepicerie is the best specialty food store in the world!” she captioned the image. “It’s a full block in 7th and has every conceivable wine and food you could want.
