Dressed in head-to-toe denim (and clutching a matching blue handbag, to boot), one of this generation’s most recognizable singers graced the Chase Center Friday night for Game 2 of the Finals of the Western Conference.
What would turn out to be the third-greatest playoff game in franchise history â a 126-117 that saw the Golden State Warriors lead 2-0 in the Western Conference Finals â was also a star-studded event. . Among the sold-out crowd were cultural figures such as music sensation Mistah FAB, serial entrepreneur Mark Cuban, as well as network television personalities like Kari Byron (of Mythbusters) and Tyler Florence (from about two dozen Food Network programs).
But arguably the biggest participant in the sight drawing game on Friday night was none other than record-breaking sensation Adele, herself, seated pitchside while snuggling up to her current boyfriend Rich Paul â a 42-year-old successful sports agent who, according to the new yorker, has made some $2 billion in contract negotiations and signings since 2012. Paul is the CEO of sports agency Klutch Sports, which, by SFGaterepresents NBA players LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Zach Levine and Draymond Green from the Warrior.
Unlike an appearance on the court in a Lakers game in October â decked out in everything about Louis Vuitton â the 15-time Grammy winner didn’t look miserable or carefree. Dressed in a denim outfit, Adele was photographed by fans and media looking cheery, happy and engaged during Friday night’s game at the Chase Center.
You could say she really “set fire to [San Francisco]” yesterday.
